This is the game he was born to play... zero defense or rebounding required

Horford is an elite defender.

Even though it pains me.. Al Horford will make it LOL

He will be last picked 100%

that guy makes the allstar look complete boring

has 0 athletic ability

these types of players should be banned from allstar (horford, millsap, etc)

I mean he's been really good, (almost as good as Tatum) but I dont think he's been all-star quality has he? He's dropped off a fair bit in raw numbers

17/8/7 shooting over 51% from the field

In addition to being an excellent defender in general, Simmons is also averaging 2 steals and 1 block per game.

Does Simmons deserve to be in the All-Star game? Yes. And let's be honest, he would be fun as hell to watch in that game...

Quote
As of late, Simmons has taken a significant step forward as a scorer. In his previous three games, the rookie guard has averaged 22.0 points on 14.0 shots. During this span, Simmons shot 57.1 percent while becoming more focused on working the paint and driving the lane. However, Thursday's game displayed an improved jump shot in the second quarter. Simmons sank a turnaround jumper from inside the arc and a fade away shot from the left elbow. If his jump shot continues to evolve over time, Simmons will become a dangerous scorer in addition to the knack he has for dishing out assists and cleaning the glass.

Gimme some Aaron Gordon over Simmons

plz bro....

Simmons: 17 Points, 8 Rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals, 1 block, 51.2% FG.

Gordon: 19 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 0.9 steals, 0.7 block, 45.5% FG.

Literally the only thing that Gordon does is shoot more, and he can hit 3's ( at a below average rate) while Simmons doesn't really attempt them.

Not to mention other stats like RPM (Real Plus-Minus) where Simmons has a net RPM of 1.71 while Gordon's RPM is -0.6 (which ranks #146 in the NBA).
