San Diego county is relatively conservative due to a large military presence. The suburban areas are represented by 2 Republicans and 1 moderate Democrat.

San Jose is definitely liberal but they probably want to put Silicon Valley in New California.

Silicon Valley is already in the blue part. Silicon Valley isn't in San Jose...it's in Palo Alto.
