ive been to the gym before i used to go once a day about five years ago and i was losing weight like i wanted but now im at the points of where to start again

as i get older i seem to not be able to lose the weight like i was i used to eat what i wanted. and still lost weight.

i at 260ish pounds standing at 6 foot.

i would like to drop down to 210-220 ish.

i dont have a workout routine when i walk into gym i kinda do what ever i feel like. i normally end up working on arms and shoulders biceps ect...

looking for somone to build me a routine ill pay fgs :D

looking to lose weight but i would also like to start building muscle on top afterward i know muscle can be gained little bit while losing weight..

i also dont eat healthy i know that has a huge play into this all XD

i do anywhere from 30 reps to 60 depending on the day.

if that helps at all XD

The reps are dependent on the weight you do.
If it's relatively easy, that's not gonna cut it.

If you're doing heavy weights, where you can lift 1-3 reps max before needing rest it may be ok

As you know, the biggest factor is what you eat, so gotta start eating somewhat better and keep improving on that.
Also, how many days do you want to go to the gym per week ? That could help determine the split to do for which workouts

Currently looking for 5-7 days I know rest days are important for lifting but I’m not sure in losing weight.. also I’m not good at the eating factor I normally sleep till I have to go to work :/

Burns makes great splits. Highly suggest you get a routine since just aimlessly doing exercises isn’t going to make the most of your time.

As for weight loss it just comes down to being in a calorie deficit though. You can use an app like myfitnesspal to enter in your weight and target weight and it calculates the calories you can eat to lose weight. You then enter in what you eat and it tracks what you have left for the day.

Caloric deficit and start learning compound movements and do HIIT.

You’ll shed the weight off.

Definitely wouldn't do 7.
I started w/ 5 then switched to 6 when my new routine required it.

But the program I was looking into is only 3 days a week, which may be easier to at least get you started and stay accountable
It's an app "Stronglifts 5x5"
it tells you which excercises to do and how much weight which is nice b/c it sets goals
Good for beginners apparently but I haven't tried it.

Otherwise you can do a "bro split"

ex.
monday chest
tuesday legs
wednesday arms
thursday back
friday ??? ( hit whatever you'd like to improve on faster again this day)

or

3 or 6 day split you can do
push exercises
pull exercises
legs

Just eat lean proteins, and quality foods
if you currently eat like shit, you already know what you need to cut out/limit (soda, candy, desserts, etc.)
don't necessarily NEED to track your macros, tho it's supposed to help.

Foremost question is WHY you bother to loose weight ?
Why don't you just continue eat unhealthy and bother to change at all?

I’ve always wanted to lose weight last time when I lost a good amount I moved and lost motivation again. As I get older I can tell it’s slowing me down I notice I sleep more and don’t have energy I used toz

Splits as in dailie workouts? And most of my problem stems from not eating g healthy. I know that I wake up at 930 leave for work by ten and eat some shit food. If I felt better I’d be able to wake up earlier and fix my self something healthy

I’ve always wanted to lose weight [..]

there must be specific reason(s) for it. Unless you find out focus on you, there is no point trying again
