Save on flooring, only put the matts down under the rack. Literally no need to tile the whole floor

So leave the carpet down and put the mats on top where the rack is going?

Yes exactly

Or pull the carpet and leave it bare

That's not gonna fly with the girlfriend lol

Okay so the T2 rack is 4x4. Tractor supply sells 6x4. I'm assuming get 2 to have some wiggle room.

That still saves a pretty penny vs getting the 7 id otherwise need.

Why does the gf insist on the rubber floor? What's her reasoning?

If it's to have a non slip surface/feel of rubber for the whole floor, the horse still mats are a solid option.

I probably should know this but... So she has had 3 major knee surgeries - I think 1 acl on each knee and then one mcl & something else on one of the knees as well. So I think it is a concern of hers that a carpet or something isn't safe and she's a worrier.

I'm pretty sure thats what it is.

She doesn't like working out... and I live for it. So if getting this rubber shit makes her feel comfortable working out, I'm going to get it.

So my girlfriend finally gave me the okay to convert our little den into a home gym. Under 1 rule... it would need to have the carpet ripped out and put in the rubber flooring.

So we have a 13x14 room. Any idea on what would be better? Tile or roll? Estimate on price?

Our budget is roughly 1,500 ideally less though... including the flooring

This is what I currently am looking at:
Titan t-2 power rack and bench combo - $400
Titan bar - $125
Titan tree and bar holder - $90
Titan landmine attachment - $40
Titan pull up attachment - $60

Dicks sells a weight with 255 pounds of plates for $190... comes with a barbell but it's trash

Any other products I should be considering? Suggestions etc. would be really nice and appreciated.

I already have a little elliptical, rowing machine and dumbbells (the adjustable ones)

Titan has adjustable 5-100lb DBs for a decent price if I recall. Adjustable require minimal space and are way cheaper.

That's down the line if I ever get it. I currently have the power blocks 5-50... my brother bought them and never used them (he doesn't workout at all) so he gave them to me for free
