So my girlfriend finally gave me the okay to convert our little den into a home gym. Under 1 rule... it would need to have the carpet ripped out and put in the rubber flooring.

So we have a 13x14 room. Any idea on what would be better? Tile or roll? Estimate on price?

Our budget is roughly 1,500 ideally less though... including the flooring

This is what I currently am looking at:
Titan t-2 power rack and bench combo - $400
Titan bar - $125
Titan tree and bar holder - $90
Titan landmine attachment - $40
Titan pull up attachment - $60

Dicks sells a weight with 255 pounds of plates for $190... comes with a barbell but it's trash

Any other products I should be considering? Suggestions etc. would be really nice and appreciated.

I already have a little elliptical, rowing machine and dumbbells (the adjustable ones)

Sure, 6 years of gym membership.

It's More of a time and convenience thing.

So they closed the worlds that was by my house. Now the closest one is roughly 25 minutes away and is becoming run down and is always packed (even before the resolutioners). Not to mention it's in the bad part of the area. Yesterday there was a shooting there in the parking lot.

A planet fitness is opening up close by and is going to destroy the profits from that world gym which apparently has been taking loans out just to get by. I refuse to get a PF membership too.

Would that money be awesome to spend on other things? Sure but a healthy lifestyle is a huge priority for me and I think this is the right move at this time.

Meh you can easily start a good home gym for a grand.
Average gym membership is around 4-500 bucks a year.
Do you have a significant other ? If they pay for a gym membership ?
Thats about 1 year of gym membership if more than 2 people in your household go to the gym.

2 years you easily profit.
