idk whats so difficult to understand here though :bouncy:

You get ele overload every 8 seconds and every 8 seconds you have RT
The crit is there so that you can proc ailments relatively easily during your 8 seconds of EO

thats kinda what i meant as well  ! basically 40% more dmg on the EO part, and 0% more dmg on the RT part, since they are 50/50 those 2 mods basically give something less than 20% more dmg (less than 50% of the 40% because the EO wont proc immediately after the RT part)

overall for attack builds with that dmg, it seems kinda shit as a main weapon. could be a good offhand though for stuff like full lightning conversion blade furry/lacerate on inquisitor maybeee  ? or phys spells!1

edit: you know what would be awesome? if tommy designed an item  !

why wouldnt it proc right after RT?

Every 16 seconds you get EO for 8 seconds.
So you have 8 seconds of EO then 8 second down time (RT) and then EO again for 8 seconds.

or?

well im not really sure about answer to this, but i do know there are 2 likely solutions  ! so since the EO definition is "40% more Elemental Damage if you've Crit in the past 8 seconds, No Critical Strike Multiplier", its either

1) RT expires, then you get 40% more elemental dmg immediately, in which case its exactly 20% more dmg, ooor
2) RT expires, then you get EO and the 40% more elemental dmg only gets a chance to proc, which is nearly immediately cause the weapon has good base crit, but not immediately. in this case its a little less than 20% more dmg

anyway, it doesnt matter at all which one of us is right because the dmg difference wont matter much with that base crit of the weapon

edit: i horribly explained this  but i mean, the problem is that i have no idea if EO means just give 40% more dmg, or like on passive tree just a chance to get the 40% more dmg on hit!

yeah  and knowing GGG, it probably will be option #1

if i wasnt so bored of poe, i would probably test it myself as an offhand lacerate on a full conversion inquisitor

edit: varunastra main maybeee  ?
