I use Avast, CCleaner, and malwarebytes for windows... Wondering what there is for linux?

I always thought it was not needed, been just using an adblocker for my browser & dont have java or flash enabled. Would like to know of one also looking forward to see what people use :)

Security on linux has different parameters. Usually you want a custom firewall and multilayer security settings.
For antivirus there was clamav for example as database but it contains mainly windows malware (for external scans). Mostly all you need is a brain instructed to use linux the way as it is intended. This is more than enough as long as you are not a governative institution or something.
