tbh they should have just started with BC. Nearly everything about vanilla is shit.

They won’t release TBC and WoTLK right away. Classic servers first, then they’ll do progression servers as well as Classic-locked servers.

Most people think that WoW Classic will come out in 2019... I’d expect it to be released in 2018. They have all the code still AND have had a Classic-based server running for reference and testing since Blizzcon at the latest. People seem to think it’ll take until 2019 because of the job postings, but I’m pretty sure that the new hires are for figuring out how to release progression content including TBC and such onto Classic servers.
