I never see info on loading an OS to one of these set budget PC. Am I missing something? Or is the previous os transferred over.

I have personally only used the windows 7 upgraded to 10 of my own. Never had to deal with an os other than simply doing the upgrade

Windows is easy to install. You can download the software from Microsoft website, then just install it onto a USB flash drive or DVD (if you still have an optical drive). Restart your computer and boot from the created USB or DVD media (google your specific motherboard for the easiest way to do this) . Then, just follow the windows installer and you should be up and running in no time.

he does already have a gpu from his old desktop. i forgot what gpu it is though, search for his post in regular CHD section, he mentioned it there. so he can just reuse his old gpu and then upgrade later if he wants, as long as his new PSU can handle it
