Budget: 800
More specific use (what games, what programs): Poe end game pubg smite call of duty
Planned time until purchase: Cyber monday
Do you need an Operating System?: Yes
Do you have any specific preferred components?: No
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: Probably? Not sure what that is
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: Stock
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: Have mouse keyboard and monitor I can snag at Best buy or something black Friday
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): 92881

What are your preferences in case style? (lights, flashy, dull, etc) plain is fine although I do prefer good ventilation as I live on a dirt lot alot of dust gets in the house
Are you planning to use multiple monitors? Probably
Are you looking for upgrade-ability? Not necessarily if it'll be able to play games for the next year or two. But it would be nice to make this a 5+ year solid machine
Do you have any preferred brands? Meh
Can you reuse any components from an older build? Nope.
Is there anything else you think we should know? Only built one computer a long time ago. Will probably be beneficial to post a put together video

Decent monitor included in build.
Sound card isn't needed unless you do studio work imo, and even then an external amp/dac is usually better.
Wireless card plugs into motherboard to give you wireless internet (and often bluetooth) capabilities. Generally much better than a usb adapter due to more power availability and faster transfer rates. Not necesary if you are in range of ethernet.

more ram? do you do editing? if not no.
you can go for the 1700x but you'll shell out more and the 1600 oc's easily to match the 1600x.
and its only going to be 0.2 ghz diff in core clocks after the slight oc.

you could pay $50 more for 8400 & $100mobo

or go the 7600k route

for poe "top frames"

but 1600 is best bang for buck
