Can anyone pls tell me what i need to improve on to get to VHS?? I haven't started calibrating yet coz' i don't want a low starting MMR..

Pick core role that has high impact and can carry team if required or at least create room for the carry.

So generally a mid hero or a roamer.

Skywrath
Qop
Pugna
Arc warden

These are a few of my favorites. You gotta enjoy the hero though

Play high impact core or carry
Outfarm your opponents

Don't whine like a bitch whenever something doesn't go your way

Don't give up 10 minutes into a game. I had 2 games in a row today where we came back from megas to win (1 ranked 1 unranked)
Assume that every loss is your fault, even if it isn't. Look at the replay and ask yourself what you could have done better.

Always carry a to and rotate to help lanes. Don't be the guy who sees someone getting ganked and throws up his hands shouting "gg our X sucks" instead of helping. DotA matchmaking thinks they're at your skill level so if they suck, you suck.

And buy wards if nobody else is buying them. It's 1.5 creeps for a ward that's cheap

yep if you dont have reliable supports, always buy your own ward. as a mid or safelane carry, you need vision otherwise you can't farm effectively.

Something to remember is that, especially during calibration, you can't always rely on your team to play support.
If the other 4 are not the support, you are the support. You might be good enough to play without wards, but the other 4 probably aren't



Sometimes you're going to be support broodmother.


Sometimes you're going to be support weaver.

Don't be the guy to dickwave a game into a loss because you don't want to support.

Feed down mid, 10/10 best strat. Comeback gold OP
