Anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?

Everything i try to place in my house goes on the roof.... i have to destroy some part of my house to be able to place a forge or anything

After a little research, looks like this was an issue a while back if you were in third player mode.
The suggested fix was to go into first person mode and zoom in a bit to try and place the flooring.

Could maybe give that a shot.

yeah when i palyed on pc sometimes shit was weird like that
i had ot like back up and look really low to get it placed on the floor

like bacon says aswell first person eliminates a lot of the issue

also idk if you are aware but you can stack walls and build a really tall house which may also help solve the issue
when i first started al lmy houses were 1 wall tall but towards the end i was stacking like 2-3 walls on top of each other making the roof really high up

How i switch into first person on ps4? I tryed but couldnt find how
