Well I'm half way through bmq training for the military,
Shits pretty easy, fun, frustrating and annoying all at the same time.

Long days, 5am to 11 pm everyday.. for 5 weeks without a day off.
We finally got the weekend off for the first time so yeah was fun.

I'm small as fuck lmao, lost 10 lbs but feels like more.. 195ish now.
Kinda ripped but nothing nice, although with a pump it looks pretty deadly

Although I'm pretty week when it comes to weight lifting

Can hold stress positions for ever lmao, push-up position, planks, weapon
stress positions. I actually enjoy the pt we do here.. lots of functional movements and core focus and it really is helping me become healthier (in a functional way)

My lower back, for those who know is a pretty brutal area for me.. has since been released and feels amazing.. from all the walking, running, PT, core exercises, stairs etc. Feels awesome so that's good.

Anyways figured I'd send an update for the boys, I have my BIQ infantry training after this and that's 50x harder so it'll be a fun test for me I'm looking forward to grinding it out.

If anyone's interested in joining the CAF feel free to shoot me a message. I don't have much experience by any means but I know the basic training inside and out and can help give you a perspective of that your first 3 months looks likes.

Hope everyone's making gains!

Did the training myself back in '97 (so fekking old eh?). Enjoy.

I imagine they still do the runs in the mornings. We had an Olympic athlete to pace our runs and she had a great *ss, so I was always running up front, flirting with her. Good times right there.

Also, I had the same XP of dropping weight. I lost 15 pounds fairly quickly, and 20 by the end of it. Good rippage ofc.

Good to hear!

Can I ask you though, aren't you too old to sign up for the military?

America is basically the only country with such strict age limits, pretty sure to enlist you have to be under 27(?) or without a waiver at least.

others, as tear just said, you can basically join whenever you want lol

Enjoying st-jean i see
I went from 180ish to 155-160 after my bmq, it's pretty brutal. I felt like i was being underfed, or no time to eat enough. That prob was the hardest part of the course for me.
