>people like you
is this a racist or xenophobic statement, or both?
or is it aka, people you disagree with. you're approaching 30 but act like the all-too-common 19 year old "intellectual" student wannabe know-it-all
i prefer to win people over with ideas and get their vote, or let the other side fail to do so.
you prefer to stop people from voting whose ideas you disagree with because thats your only idea. a one trick pony.
Not at all. This isn't about not allowing people into government that people want there. It's about making sure people know what they are actually voting for.
Like the Brexit example - no 350M for the NHS, EU court still has jurisdiction, immigration unaffected, people calling for a second referendum etc. This wouldn't have happened if there was an educated voter base.
It's also about people who have no knowledge of a subject running committees to investigate the departments responsible for that subject. See Ted Cruz on NASA and climate change.
There's plenty I don't like in politics atm. But I don't believe that people would vote against what they want unless they are misinformed. lower and middle class wouldn't vote Trump if they knew what his tax reform would actually do for them for example.
You never 'win people over with ideas'. You attempt to mock, bully and belittle with repetitive memes. So repetitive in fact that they are likely ineffectual. Pretty sure fender doesn't give two fucks that you call him 'heinrich' and just about everybody scrolls past you posting your 'triggered' meme without giving it a second thought.
It is nice to actually have a dialogue of sorts with you though. So thanks for that.
