my gamin comp is kinda sheap atm lookin to upgrade atm got

MB----m5 a97 r2.0
vid---- gtx660 i got 2 but 1 not in the comp because mb doesnt do sli so in new build could use both possibly? neather card not to old
ram--- 8 gb installed
processor --- amd fx(tm)-8350 eightcore 4.00 ghz

windows 7 professional


any advice be awesome just lookin to upgrade for better gaming

you gotta upgrade GPU to a better one, but ur still limited by ur CPU. So unless you're gonna get a brand new set up, only thing to upgrade to make it better for gaming would be a stronger GPU.

would buying a better cpu and running sli 660s be a decent choice ? or just junk the 660s and go up

well if u want to do cpu first I wouldn't see it as a bad choice. On games that allow sli you'll be pulling more frames than 1050ti but still not quite that of 1060. still would be descent imo.

but if u want the biggest boost right now I think gfx card is it. but if you would want to see maybe the 11xx series of nvidia and wait for something like that then you can cpu now

those games arent demanding, better off upgrading cpu/mobo/ram imo
but if u get 1060 or 1070, those are overkill too for those games
