So, I originated from D2. I loved MFing, the loot system was the best- it felt rewarding, it was complicated- but not impossible to comprehend the in's and outs like comparing Dota to LoL.

I played back in 2002ish, played for a couple years 2002-2005(ish).

I MF'd on blizzard/meteor sorc, then I made an HDIN, got into smiting and gubers. Lost my computer in a hurricane.

Path of Exile just had one of it's worse leagues released in a couple years now- so I'm bored as hell being that I'm not that great at PUBG, left LoL a couple months ago and they made the game more aids than it already was, don't care to learn Dota2 because I can't stand the graphics, so I decided it's probably worth coming back to D2 since PoE is letting me down 8 months out of 12.

What are the changes to the game since so long ago?

There is something about synergies with skills. Like you get 5% more damage with fireball for every point of firebolt or something like that.

A book of regression or something that resets skills.

I think they removed guber power leveling?

1-15 Trist runs 16-24 Temple Runs 20-26 cow level then 27-70 Hell Diablo?

Whereas it use to be 1-85 gubers?

I don't know, it's been a while.

Did they nerf anything so hard that it's unplayable?

What is the typical MF setup for a orb sorc?

Can you still bypass cold immune with a massive amount of penetration?

15-23 tombs
23-24 ancients
24-45 norm baal
45-70 nm baal
70-9x Cbaals

^^That's how I've always done it in terms of level progression

Can't bypass cold immune without Conviction or Lower Resist.

Everything is mostly the same

Best part is where you lost computer to hurricane

you can grush but uber leveling is gone. also since 2005 a lot has changed in the way people play this game no one really mfs by hand and trades like that. maybe at start of ladder but otherwise its mass botting so anything you find probably isnt worth anything. find a griffons nice rare unique? well its not worth anything no one wants it

Path of Diablo is amazing.

1-3 to stony
4-6 from rakanishu to stormtree
7 from trist
8-14 tower runs ( much more monster packs than trist )

pm me with specific questions, and I have no problem helping you level a character with a free c-rush (classic rush, convert to xpac in hell a3, and you now have a lvl 1 in hell to chaos with)

I'd probably suggest sticking around for the next ladder restart too, for blizzard has done away with most of the botters, and all spam bots. Ladder restarts have not been so healthy in years, and its fuggin awesome.

Grush a lvl1 to hell cs and level up there. You’re a softcore player so it doesn’t matter if you die.
