Cutting their services =/= cutting their taxes.

It's effectively the same.

In what Bizzaro world scenario are polar opposites "effectively the same?"

The rich pay 90% of taxes. They are already overtaxed

This is just the usual discrimination and identity politics the left uses to divide the nation. The most vicious proponents of wealth distribution are jealous lazy people who are trying to compensate for their own lacks by blaming it on a rich “bogeyman”.

No it doesn't, no it isn't, and just what? Have you been taking Reaganomics 101?

Also always relevant:

“This guy who spent 70 years on this Earth showing no concern for working people. This guy is suddenly going to be your champion? I mean he’s spent most of his life trying to stay as far away from working people as he could. And now this guy's going to be the champion of working people? Huh?”

are you one of those people who always waits to stab the trickle down idealists? anyways my post made perfect sense and if you actually knew what trumps plan was youd understand that this will be good for ALL americans.

the rich pay the most taxes under any progressive or flat % tax system unless you specify that everyone pays a flat $ amount

It's like the entire left ignores that you can't cut taxes for people who aren't paying them.

The middle class isn't paying taxes?

In addition to money taken from our checks my wife and I end up writing a check to the government at the end of tax season. It fucking sucks. But we agree to it by living within the social contract here...it isn't a buffet can't pick and choose.

Libertarians fighting for millionaires and billionaires...they don't need your help...you should help yourself and your class of people...thise who work for a living, not just own shit.

Cutting funding away from services raises the cost of living on all working families. Financial burden is financial burden, and you seek to shift the burden from millionaires and billionaires to yourself, your family, and your neighbors.

Little Barron Trump doesnt need your charity. The 1% benefits the most from the current social arrangement. There is a reason all their heads end up on pikes or in baskets every few generations, somewhere on earth.

Upper middle class is, sure. I am.

It's forced on you. It's not a contract. It's extortion.

I fight for everyone that has to pay the government. It just so happens that most of those people are "rich."

Those poor 1%ers...so coerced in their private jets and mansions. I bet they appreciate having a champion, from the other half, defending their Oblomov-esqe lives.

If there is coercion going on within the system, the 1% are perpetrating it.

And you can literally go anywhere. Just because you were born here doesn't mean you don't have to obey the laws here. Paying your taxes has the same moral status as any other law. The power to coerce is the power to govern....is the basis of all positive law. You've pretended to not like positive law in the past, but you are devoted to it, or otherwise you would follow the libertarian beliefs to their natural conclusion and become a real anarchist.
