Okay... pretty done with this lol. Completely misunderstood and failed to answer the question I asked you.

I'll try once again. Of the movies posted already, which ones have you seen and did you like it. This helps me figure out what you've seen and what to recommend next based on your likes/dislikes.

.... ya, I win. If you haven't watched those movies, you'll thank me once you're done. I'll sort it for you. Just watch them, ignore the name if it bothers you.

True Romance - My favorite movie of all time
The Prestige
The Usual Suspects
Tombstone and I forgot to add this, but Unforgiven - Two of the best westerns ever
Reservoir Dogs

Little Older But amazing

Raging Bull
A Clockwork Orange
Deer Hunter
Serpent in the Rainbow (about the drug that turns people in zombies, entertaining, but fucking weird)

Good, but not as good as the top 5

Insomnia
The Big Lewbowski - One of the most acclaimed comedies of all time
Being John Malkovich - Weird ass mind trip movie

If you don't like True Romance, The Prestige or the Usual Suspects, I don't even fucking know lol. That hits on so many different categories and those three are just fucking stupid good movies.

True Romance was a movie written by Tarantino, but he had a friend direct - Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Gary Oldman, Sam Jackson, Chris Pean, Tom Sizemore, James Gandolfini, Brad Pitt, Christopher Walken, Dennis Hopper. Like, this movie is fucking stupid good.
The Prestige - One of Christopher Nolan's first movies (inception/batman triology) - It's a movie about two magicians who are in a rivalry with one another and it's got one of those FUCK endings and an amazing journey there
The Usual Suspects - DO NOT! Look up anything about this movie. Just watch it. I will say nothing.

Reservoir Dogs - Is a Tarantino movie, might not be for everyone, but it's a insanely well done movie.
Tombstone/Unforgiven - Like I said, two of the best westerns ever made. Unforgiven is Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman, and Gene Hackman (how could you go wrong?) Tombstone has Kurt Russell as Wyatt Earp and Val Kilmer as Doc Holiday - This is my favorite western.

Another one I just thought of while saying Val Kilmer, was

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang - This has Robert Downey Jr and Val Kilmer. After RDJ's drug thing, this was the first movie he did when he came back, and it's AWESOME! It's a dark crime comedy thriller? Kinda lol. But it's hilarious and one of the best comedies I've seen, which is a genre I don't like all that much.

Being John Malkovich is a great movie.

Wristcutters a love story is a really good lesser known movie.

The autopsy of Jane Doe

Obviously the larger movies like Fargo, the big Lebowski, Goodfellas

If you're willing to give animated movies a shot there is grave of the fireflies, princess mononoke, akira, ghost in the shell etc.
