Don't do the nightfall until you're 265... it's a waste. Leveling to 265 takes no time and can be done by grinding ANY content. The NF is gear you can only get once a week and it will push you past the wall you hit at 265. DON'T waste powerful gear quests before you're 265. You're only hurting yourself by doing this.
What you want to do is run Regional Chests + Lost Sectors. If you do every lost sector/regional chest on each planet, you will be 265 and you don't ruin anything. Then go do all your milestones, Patrol+Heroic strikes on Nessus (changes weekly), 3+ PvP Matches (weekly), Join a clan and do 10 pvp,strike,events etc, do the raid, do the NF. DO NOT, do any of this before 265. When you're done with ALL of that for the week, go do an exotic weapon quest, or do an exotic weapon quest first and then do one after you finish all this. If you've done EVERYTHING and you still want to lvl more, make a different character, not the same class, it's a waste of time. Switch your best weapons to character #2 and they'll lvl super fast. Then you can do all the milestones twice a week. Rinse and repeat until you have 3 characters at 305.
DON'T WASTE POWERFUL GEAR QUESTS BEFORE 265. YOU'RE FUCKING YOURSELF
