Got a new psu when I got this pc last year. :)

Was looking into it and it seems like the pc would be able to upgrade a little further than my current one.

Think a i5 (can upgrade to i7 with the board) and a 750ti would be ok for sims4 & maybe wow on low settings?

Will play both high settings.

Sweet! I'll make a post when I get everything & show it in action :) plan on keeping it under 150.00 for everything (pretty sure I have a extra ssd somewhere)

Just a quick question, I was looking at graphics cards & found some 750ti's for 60usd but the card uses ddr5? Not 100% sure how this works if the mobo uses ddr3?

Here's the card I'm looking at

EVGA GeForce GTX 750Ti SC 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card 02G-P4-3753-KR

The DDR5 on the vid card has nothing to do with the DDR3 on the motherboard. All that matters is the PCIe slot and if there is enough room (lengthwise) in the case.
You should be fine on both those items.

Hey guys I currently have a Dell optiplex 755 I don't play any games but the wife wants to play sims 4. I am using onboard graphics with a crap dual core processor & 4gb ram.

Budget: 100.00 usd

Ram: don't really plan on upgrading currently

Gpu: would not mind getting one for overwatch or Gta5 when I'm bored.

Cpu: can only go up to q6600 I think..

So with 100.00 currently using a Dell optiplex 755 mini tower, I'm thinking about using the 100.00 for a new motherboard / cpu combo using current ram, hdd, psu. Or something that will support my old cpu until I can upgrade it.

Any ideas on what I should aim for? Moving from arch linux to gentoo so I would like a little upgrade room for The processor compared to my current board I'm pretty sure it can only handle a q6600.

Any help will be welcome :) never really upgraded or pieced together a pc before & feeling a little lost lol.
