srsly, I cant decide worth a fuck..

So long story short, I came into a decent chunk of money.. Enough to pay my house off and buy me and my ole lady new cars.. I have a budget of around 40k, so throw more ideas at me..

I want the vehicle to perform, I want a bit of leg space in the back and I want features... My initial thought process was to get a lower end trim with every option available, but after test driving the scat pack.. Fuck me I wanted that.

Never drove the SS, but new they start around 50k, the a5 sportback I've always liked the look of and the 3 series is just a fantastic car.

Where do you live?

Do you have a second car option to drive?

And why not go with a 2016 C7? Or if you can cough up a little more some 2017s can be found new under $50k

Leg space in the back =.= lol.

And I have a 99 Jeep Cherokee Sport and a 2012 VW Passat, both owned outright. I plan on selling the Passat and storing the Cherokee until I have time to fuck with it.

If it were up to me and I didn't have kids and a wife to tote around, I would go with a c7 so fucking fast.

My bad, totally started typing and forgot the back seat part haha.

You a mustang fan? I personally prefer those over the Camaro SS.

The SS really have that much more Leg Room? Never had to deal with one before, so I assumed both would suck.

I recommend keeping the money. Are you talking about 40k each? As in you're willing to spend 80k total? Just because you have money, it doesn't mean you must spend it.

General rule of thumb, if you can afford the loss it's no big deal. I have my advisor telling me that it is fine, I feel comfortable spending this money.. So it's really no big deal, I want 2 cars that me and my wife love driving and will last a long time.

I'll make that 80k back well before the 10 years of the life of the car.
