This.
Just because you're spending 50 more on a mobo right now, the 50 isn't gonna get you a better gpu, or a better cpu or anything that would significantly increase in performance.

Also, by the time he actually needs an upgrade it'll prolly be like Gen 12+

Doesn't make sense to get lower gaming performing cpu for more $ than the 8400 right now. Just cuz u have the option to pay more $ to get another CPU that's reusable with the current am4 mobo in the future. That's basically expecting OP to upgrade the cpu much sooner to make it well worth it.

Yeah it's freaking insane. Price on RAM has literally doubled!
Hurts every damn time I'm making a PC for friends and family!

The phone market is destroying the RAM market...

I'm also gonna need a decent gaming chair and desk ordered to my house any opinions on those?

Will be ordering this upcoming satarday ! Any final thoughts or guilds ?
