They're good monitors, but for Ur intent of use, I don't think it's a good investment.

Base Total: $991.79
Mail-in Rebates: -$30.00
Shipping: $4.99
Total: $966.78

use the $500 on OS/monitors and mouse.
I personally prefer playing PoE and LoL since response time means shit in those games and i prefer quality color. I use my dell ultrasharps over my asus rog 165hz/IPS monitor.

price will most likely increase in 2-3weeks, so make sure you bump the thread a day or 2 before you plan on purchasing

this looks rly good

@ Penguins0690 lol this guy with his AMD cpu's :rofl:

Yeah, sucks it's outdated already price wise. Will need to build a new in couple weeks, and be hopeful parts available aren't worse.

If the case are not of your liking you can pick something else, seems to be good for the price.
If you wanna store videos/movies you would need an HDD for some additional storage. WD blue and seagate barracuda both are great value.

The Acer - XF240H is going to be the main monitor for gaming. While the Acer - R240HY is going to be secondary.
Will provide you with a butter smooth gaming experience.

Why u riding me on this?
Wtf ppl buying overpriced Intel 8400's for? Makes 0 sense.

Let me upgrade, oh wait, platform was obsolete when purchased. at least if you go ryzen, you will be able to upgrade cpu without replacing Mobo.

@op, I like matching monitors, that's why I chose those ;)
Also gsync/75hz for 300 each isn't bad.
