I get the scientific reasoning behind that but i dont think ill ever believe it
Maybe the fake processed juices
But there has to be something else to it
The thing is sugar in fruit for your body is no problem. You can eat as much fruit as you like. But the process of juicing it removes the fibers and a lot of nutrients, so you get stuck with sugar and you just lost a lot of good stuff out of the fruit. So ur body cannot process the sugar that way. It's why pediatrician will tell you to avoid too much juices for your kids, cause it lead to obesity.

as i got older, i learned soda isn't so bad for you. it's more about your opportunity cost. the common fallacy is that your choices are 1) drink 2L of water or 2) drink 2L of soda, in which case the water is better. BUT if your choices are 1) drink nothing or 2) drink 2L of soda a day, then by all means drink the soda. the dehydration is much worse on your body.
That's such a stupid statement. In what kind of fucked up situation would you be to have access to soda but not water lol.
