drink water. the soda has a lot of sodium which will dehydrate your system. Drinking water will hydrate you and eliminate the thirst.

focus on building the new habit rather than stopping the old -- makes breaking bad habits a lot easier.
but u can find good alternatives if u dont wanna go water straight away - flavoured powders w/ vitamin C etc

like lil gueto said its mind over matter, i did it, just find a new drink to replace, flavored water if you can't just cut it.

Orange juice was the only thing that helped me (im back on the pawp tho so maybe just +1 alot)

The problem is that juice contains as much sugar as soda. Sure it's better, but not really a healthy replacement.
