First off this PC is for my girlfriend who is currently getting educated as multimedia-designer. But she also do some freelancing. She's getting tired of her small 800p 13" monitor on her macbook, as well a slow i5 duo core. Its fine for school after i upgraded it with an SSD and 16gb RAM.
- I've one mostly gaming and office builds in ATX and M-ATX form factor. hence why i want a second opinion on this ITX editing build.

Well my girlfriend was kinda hooked on getting an iMac 2017, but for 2000$ you are not really getting a lot. i5 3.4ghz, Radeon Pro 570, 16ram and 256gb ssd for 2100$ https://www.apple.com/shop/buy-mac/imac?product=MNE92LL/A&step=config
The monitor is not even true 10bit (1billion color). Just 8bit with simulation.
But a big selling point for her is the design, she doesn't like the look of most bulky monitors and think PC cases are ugly.
- But kinda persuaded her to go with an ITX build I will mod so it can be mounted under the table, and a classy looking monitor.

Budget is around 2000$
Will mostly be used adobe programs for now (4k video editing in Premiere pro and Creating pictures in Photoshop)
Light gaming like sims 4 and minecraft.
Kinda uncertain if 16GB RAM is sufficent, but the budget doesn't really allow 32GB without sacrificing somewhere else.
We will also be need a simply classy looking mouse and keyboard. something like: https://www.amazon.co.uk/FENIFOX-Wireless-Keyboard-Ultra-thin-Portable-Silver/dp/B01FLK41OE/ (can be costlier, giving the quality)

Thinking about buying a used rx480 or 580. I see a few for 220-260$.

This is how I'm going to mount the case under the table.

Going with 6 z brackets I hope? Build looks solid.. I'd opt for a 1080ti.

Or a 1070 ti if that ends up being a real thing. Used 480/580 would be fine in the interim

Just make sure she doesn't use any cuda only accelerated programs. If not, the RX 480/580 should be just dandy.

4 large solid Z brackets should be enough for 10 pounds?
Not sure how a 1080ti is going to fit this budget.

Which popular editing programs are only cuda accelerated?

- The reason i wanna go AMD is to advantage of freesync in the current selected monitor and more RAM as well.

No idea. I used Sony Vegas back in the day while it supported only OpenCL, obviously Nvidia cards did much worse in it.

At the same time quite many popular After Effects (CS4) plugins only supported Cuda.

All I'm saying, just google the names of the programs your gf uses the most and you'll know - not just guess.

Most Adobe programs should work equal, although there is a strong bias towards Nvidia cards in the industry. That probably stems from an older era.

Seems like the most popular programs will work equally on Cuda or not :)

Anyone got any changes to the build?

I think the NVME drive will be great to store more recent projects. Also she has access to save directly onto our server.

Just ordered everything but the monitor
Bought a used MSI Gaming X RX480 8GB for 220$.

Got my hands on a coupon. For a purchase of above 236$ I save 47$.
Found out I could use this coupon multiple times, so ended up using it 4 times. Saving a total of 188$ or about 18%.
