Hey Guys,

Stanley Cup Auction will be a little different this year as there was hesitation about doing it and the reality of us posting it every day and tracking it is low.

I am going to post the teams in groupings of 5 and 6 with 72 hour timers. Each will end at 72 hours after posting regardless of when it was posted, and each valid bid within 5 mins of the timer will add 5 mins to the time. ex. a bid at -4 till closing will extend 5mins on top of the 4.

Does someone want to step up and med this? If not i can but people may prefer an official med
** NO EDITS on bidding posts**

Payouts
Payouts are as follows:
• SC Winner: 50% of pot
• SC Loser: 25% of pot
• Regular Season Division winners 5% (20% total)
• Last place Team 5%

Minimum Bids
Minimum bids vary as follows:
• If the previous bid is 299 or less: minimum bid is 25 fg
• If the previous bid is 300 to 899: minimum bid is 50 fg
• If the previous bid is 900 or more: minimum bid is 100 fg
All bids below the minimum amount will be ignored.

Winning
Whoever has the highest bid at the end of the auction wins the team.
Once you win an auction, you have 24 hours to send your fg to the med (TBD). Otherwise, the team will be sold to the next-highest bid or re-auctioned if necessary. If you do not pay for a team that you win, then you will be banned from participating in all future auctions.
You may bid on and win as many teams as you like, but you cannot own more than 3 teams.
Sold teams and prices can be found in this thread.
If you give/sell a team to someone else, please confirm (cd) the transaction in this thread or in the team's auction thread.
If you have the winning bid on more than 3 teams only the first 3 bids in order down the list will be considered. After that it will go to the runner up
If you have any questions about anything, ask.

Selling/ Donating teams
If you sell or donate a team, a tax will be charged and added to the pot, 10% of the initial auction price. If it is won for 100fg and sold for 150, the 10% tax is on the 100.

ya there is no way we manage it team by team this year, im open to other suggestions, just talked to znick i am going to throw in a rule expanding on if you have bids that win for more than your 3 team limit

i would say do it a chunk of teams at a time for X number of days

5-6 teams for 2 days each

works, another idea would be to have 5 teams open to bidding per day or something. One thread 5 teams, etc.

How about today make a thread per 5 teams(last thread will have 6) and let the betting go on till dead line like OP made.

i think having the bidding go on an extended time period like that is silly personally but thats just my opinion

i liked having a set closing time
