but more on topic. i made the thread just to talk a little about it. I haven't told my family or most friends because it'll just be more work to get them to understand than to just say i don't believe in anything. Which I don't, sort of. I believe in the core values and purposes that Satanism gives. I also find that if rituals are followed correctly, you can really have a better shot at getting what you want. I don't believe in mystical powers, I believe in my own power. I believe that by doing a ritual (one day when necessary), it can help me mentally achieve my goal and empower my desires so that i WILL make it happen.

I also agree with i'd say 95% of the ideals in the satanic bible. I find a lot of comfort and self satisfaction through sexual behavior, I have a very active sex life and I feel like this religion is supportive of that. Because I agree with the book, satisfy your desire. If you want it, you can have it; as long as no other persons individual rights are infringed on.

The only thing I'm not entirely on board with is that I feel most satanists would avoid doing the right thing and using "well i wanted it" as justification. I think everything is rigght and wrongg, but based on circumstances. ... Well, I'm also an ethics & business major, so I think naturally I just try to do the what I feel is the right thing; regardless of wether or not I desire it. But thats because I would personally feel guilt for doingg what I might question as, "wrong"
