Saw it on Sunday.
I loved the cast - they projected an easy going, nostalgic feel to the film which at first seemed out of place in the thriller/horror genre, but grew on me and I was sold after the first 20 mins.
However, the jump-scares lost their mojo after a while and I felt the scenes where they were running from/fighting Pennywise were stretched out and too long.
It didn't make sense how the girl could be revived but the other kids that started floating down after Pennywise was (temporarily) defeated are still dead. I guess they were too far gone?
I'd give it a 7/10, because I liked the cast so much. Those kids have big futures.
I am pretty sure they acknowledge/touch on this... because she wasnt scared of Pennywise
And Im glad the movie wasnt just a bunch of jump scares. That gets lame quick, it actually had a story/content too it vs cheap jump scares for 2 hours
