I drive a 2008 Pontiac G6 standard. 225/60/r17s. I need a good recommendation for a good all season tire. Or if I could possibly upgrade to a larger tire without effecting my turn much and grinding my tires in the wheel wells. I had Dunlop Signature II's and they just didn't cut it for me and with winter coming I need something with more grab. Any recommendations? Been surfing the internet with out much success.

The firestones I see in my size don't seem to hold up review wise for snow.

I've had good luck with michelin tires. I have had the same ones on my vehicle for 6 years and they aren't cracked and the tread is pretty good still. (~50k miles on em now)

Few tires in this size are really good all-season tires. If you can manage to find some, the Goodyear Assurance TripleTred would make an excellent choice. Another really good option would also be the Michelin Premier A/S.

For winters tires the best bet would be : Michelin X-Ice Xi3 or the bridgestone Blizzak. IMO
