why would blizzard ban peoples accounts for talking about jsp in game?

Blizzard has better things to do than act as big brother in a 17 year old game.

There had been a case recently of a guy posting on bnet forum who was told by a mod that his account was shut down for advertising an item site, to which he responded he had talked about jsp, at least that's how I read it.

Surely just a coincidence on the chat ban. And that kid actually posts on bnet lol. He was begging for it. I didn't actually click your link though just assuming he advertised on bnet. Otherwise, if you're gonna violate their ToU, probably a good idea to do so in private games and not talk about it.

Using jsp is a violation of the ToU. Blizzard has a new AI detecting jsp spammers on Battle.net. "The account "Jacky." on USWest was closed for spamming item site messages. I'm sorry, but it will not be re-opened."

That seems fair. I'd be disappointed if such stupidity weren't rewarded with a ban. lol what actual human spams websites.

I head they're banning people for reading The Herald or watching Batman movies.
