I have nothing against Darrajuju. He/She is simply sharing their opinion on a relatively hotly debated topic.

That being said, there is nothing to say that the developers of D2 may not have wanted to include a larger stash size or a more convenient way of players stashing items but were unable to implement anything more than they did due to technological restrictions back in the day.

I tend to think that the developers of a Loot-based game would be mindful of the fact that their player-base would need as much stash size as possible to house all the loot that the game generates.

Personally, I do use PlugY and I do not consider it to be cheesing or trivialising the game. I set heavy restrictions on myself during my playthroughs but hindering my ability to collect and maintain my gear in methods that suit my play-style I do not regard as legitimate challenges of D2 but rather, unnecessarily ham-stringing myself when there is software that provides a more user-friendly experience.

I have never progressed a character to the point of killing DClone or Ubers. Perhaps one day I will. I have attempted DClone before and did not have a character strong enough to out-DPS his Health Regen. So, for me, I am yet to see DClone as anything other than a future challenge. PlugY has not trivialised or made this aspect of D2 any less rewarding.

I could go on but I believe most of the contributors of this thread are fairly well aware as to the discussion points on both sides of the coin by now.

The all-encompassing statement is that one should play a game the way they want. The way that provides them with the most enjoyment that they can get out of their time playing that game. Especially in SP where your endeavours are heard by no one else other than yourself, if you choose to play a certain way that enhances your experience, go for it and enjoy yourself.

I didn't like plugY. Made it too easy. Never had a problem with folks that used it. But Plugy didn't work properly.

Yeah i totally went pussy by installing plugy for my java wt after 123pages. Damn the day after installing it i had massively huge pussy growing instead of my dick (i feel you all plugy users). Do i keep using plugy on my java wt? Yes i will and admit that. Will never again use plugy on any other wt since i know how fucking easy it makes game.
