I know I'd chill in there and it would clean up this mess a bit as an area more for discussion and question/advice threads.

I think both sections would be worth visiting.
Ideas?

Good ideas.

The section is only dead because it's a mess of frequently bumpedal threads that overtake the posting rate of its now small community. I'm not saying get rid of them. It won't make the forum mu ch different to separate them.

Take a good look at the front page of this forum and honestly tell me what you think.

Really not necessary, to be quite honest. Gets suggested so much but that's what this forum is. Majority is people sharing their progress with others and discussing the game through those topics, which is why you see few discussion topics; they're happening in the achievement topics.

If you take a look at the Diablo 2 PvM forum, it's the same exact way.

Take away achievement threads from both forums and you're left with a dead section, ultimately.

Perhaps I should suggest a Runescape discussion section of sorts added at the level of the trading forums. With somebody to moderate it lightly, I think it would add to, rather than split the community. Since this would be a little subforum the risk isn't very high for something that might positively impact the forum.
