His assist rate relative to his usage rate is still better than Curry's.

By a lot.

Because the entire system of golden state is a pass happy-look for the open man 5 times before shooting type of system, where all 5 players are bought in and can pass.

Okc's isn't even close.

True, but I think Westbrook is still a better passer than Curry.

That would actually be a fascinating team, Warriors with Westbrook instead of Curry, if Westbrook could be a team player.

Curry makes both teams better, simple. Since they drafted Curry the Warriors have gone from nowhere to potential all time best. The culture of that entire organisation is based around Curry and he has changed the way the entire league approaches the game.

Stats without context mean nothing, Westbrook can lead all categories against Curry if he wants, you need to look at the bigger picture of how you create a successful system, Curry is a perfect example of that

Ladder spawn acting like Curry made the playoffs before Green joined the Warriors.

Kerr and Draymond make the system work, Curry makes it flourish.

curry on okc they drop to 7th seed prolly. Doesn't have nearly the playmaking ability of Westbrook. They don't have the shooters on that team. But PG and curry would be interesting to watch tho

Westbrook on warriors would be awk but they'd still lock up 1st seed. Offense on warriors with KD looked stagnant at times during the season let alone with a ball dominate PG like russ. Curry sets really good screens to free up KD and Klay that really goes unnoticed. And that pick and roll with durant is disgusting plus spaces the floor more esp when klay is off

Russ would give them more versatility on defense tho if he puts effort on that end, but have yet to see it on a consistent basis
