OKC gets worse, guaranteed.

But GSW = idk, it radically changes everything. You get a massive upgrade in physical talent and defense and a steep drop in shooting ability. I think Curry moves the ball better in the GSW system and I think Russ would just sort of storm the palace and kick the ball around when he feels like it. His distribution has gotten way, way better during his career. If I had to guess, the GSW would get better due to the physical talent upgrade but they'd play much uglier ball.

The real issue is whether KD and Russ could play together again. I think they could. But then you get less out of KD.

So why does Westbrook average more APG for his entire career and close to 4 more a game for the last two years?

Warriors will get worse and Thunder would get better. Thunder players would actually be able to contribute a lot more with Curry playing than with Westbrook.

You guys underestimate how much of an impact Curry has on his team. Offense opens up so much more when you have a player like Curry who can not only stretch the court but contribute in so many different ways, on and off the ball.

Not to mention, Curry plays more disciplined defense than Westbrook.

Westbrick is a great player, but him and KD couldn't do it with Ibaka + shooters before.

Westbrick needs the ball in his hands to be most effective, this year shows that.
Westbrick isn't a shooter even close to Curry.
Westbrick doesn't give KD space to operate like Curry does.

Warriors are by far worse off and lose to the Spurs in 6.
Do not underestimate how much Curry matters to KD's ability to operate in space.


But I can't expect anything less from you. I mean you think Irving > Lillard.

Because his usage rate is insane

Westbrook's play style would look a lot more like curry's if Westbrook had the type of help that curry has. He knows he has to rely on himself to make plays whereas if he played with the warriors he knows the ball could be in the hands of x, y or z and the offense would still be effective.

His assist rate relative to his usage rate is still better than Curry's.

Kyrie is a much, much better player than Lillard lawl. It's not even debatable.

Only a homer thinks Irving is > Lillard.
This SF has started to realize Lillard is at the very least = to Irving.
