Plenty of toy stores that sell the old packs, a lot of stores weigh them and u will probably get junk

Your best bet is to buy booster boxes of the old stuff but be prepared to pay a lot of money

typically for older pokemon cards you are better using craigslist or like an app called offer up. As most ebay items you can buy end up with a lot of damaged cards. TCGplayer is great for standard and expanded pokemon cards.

But if you are just wishing to collecting for fun then probably not the best place to go.
