I got a server to mess with It has a supermicro x7dal-e+ motherboard online it says it supports 5xxx series xeons so i bought a pair of x5472s. And no post it beeps like its posting but no video. It has the newest bios.

After screwing with it i looked at the spec sheet of the processors it says 1600 fsb and my board says 1333 fsb is that my issue?

I thought it was the crap psu so i used a 1000 watt just to make sure with no change

x means its a xeon line cpu or enthusiast cpu.

Ok do you see a reason for the x5450s to not work?
