Budget: $750-800
More specific use (what games, what programs): League of Legends, Diablo 3, Skyrim remastered, Minecraft, Overwatch, Path of Exile.
Planned time until purchase: Around Black friday/Cyber monday
Do you need an Operating System?: No
Do you have any specific preferred components?: Freesync/Gsyng monitor?
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: Wireless card pls
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: Hyper 212
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: Possible monitor.
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): 56001

Want to sell my current build and buy a new one for more modern technologies (DDR4, USB 3.0, Freesync/Gsync), and to flat upgrade some parts. Games I play are listed, would like to upgrade gfx to either be able to handle QHD (1440) or UWD (2560 x 1080) on ~high settings (doesn't have to be ultra)
With that being said, I know freesync is less expensive than gsync right now, but will the lack of amd gfx cards balance out by the time I would buy this? If possible would prefer to do AMD all the way, but bang for the buck is ultimately the goal.
Case I would want something that has good cooling, and front USB3 plugs. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/3MPfrH/deepcool-case-tesseractsw seems decent to me, I know cases come down to a lot of personal preference.

Without Monitor
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mndF2R

Should be able to handle all the mentioned games maxed out.
I can alter the build to fit in a cheap monitor.

You not getting a 1440p or UW1080p in this budget.

I feel like the processor and ram would be overkill for what I do. Would it be more cost effective for gaming to drop those down a bit and take it a step up on the gfx card? Or will a 1050 ti handle those resolutions fine on those games?
Also, I wasn't considering the monitor in the budget, that would be a separate expense.

Well Overwatch would be the most GPU intensive game on the list. You can play ultra settings around 80fps 1080p. and with some tweaks in ultra 60fps 1440p.

Do you have heavy scripts and 3D programming?
Hence why I went with 6c/12t + 16GB RAM

When I said programming, I meant basic stuff in C++/Java, just creating i/o streams and having it complete a task. Most extensive work I've done is create some simple games using the Cimg library. I never even had problems doing anything on my $300 laptop, probably didn't even need to put that in the description.
/e I'm also a better picture over high frame rate kinda guy, I don't plan on buying higher fps monitors; 60 fps looks fine to me on Overwatch.

Well 8gigs of ram and an AMD 1200 with an hyper212, so you can overclock to like 3.7-3.8Ghz and still stay pretty low in temps.

140$ bucks saved there. You can choose using in on an GTX 1060 6GB, then you will be sure to run skyrim remastered highest settings on 1440p as well.

I haven't really played that much of Skyrim, but I should also add Path of Exile to that list. Would a 1060 6gb be that noticeable over a 3gb model for those games assuming I'm not trying to get over 60 fps?

Also, I would be keeping my current SSD (have 2 hard drives in there now, would only sell it with the mechanical one), so only a 1tb hdd would be wanted.

hyper 212 is trash

you arent getting 1440 for 800$ including monitor ESPECIALLY if its a 1440 monitor

up your budget or be realistic

e: youre not even buying it until October...... come back later
