What can I use to make a shooting pad for my son? He's starting IP this year, been taking him skating, want him to start playing some puck in the garage.

The ones in stores are expensive for a small 36''x24'' pad,.. costco has 20x 12''x12'' tiles for $99 which isn't bad.
Is there anywhere's that sells like a 4'x8' sheet of something that will work? (Canada)

With a quick google search I just saw that there are plenty of videos for homemade shooting pad available online. I don't know how good they work though.

Glad to hear you're putting your son into the best sport

but for real, you can get sheets of this stuff if you look hard enough

i had 3 sheets a while back. they were pretty thick as well which made it pretty sturdy.

Ended up buying 3 green biscuit pucks, they slide nice in the garage anyway.
Little guy is going to have a nice setup, wish I had half what my kids have when I was their age!
