Whats the difference between the different series?
Is there actual preform differences or just brand?

Thanks in advance!

I ment more like some say sci gaming or other things on the series colume on pcpartpicker. Not the actual 1080 vs 1070.

Yes it matters.
Not a huge amount but you should consider it when buying.
Some have back plates/oc better/run cooler/defaulty oc's/better pcb's etc.
Warranties vary by brand, as well as quality with some.

EVGA or Gigabyte are solid choices. PNY is pretty junk tier.

Galax if you can find one, their build quality is second to none. i've got a gt 240 from them (called Galaxy then) that's been running close to nonstop in a streaming box since 2009 with no hiccups and probably will continue to do so for another 10 years

Their 'HOF' line are world record setters when it comes to overclocking.

I disagree, their pricing is trash tho since you can get all the extra blings & features from asus, msi, etc. around the same price if not cheaper. It's still a solid card, so if it goes on some sick deal, u get on that shit like BBC
EVGA had theirs catch fire and overheat, doesnt make them junk tier or solid either. Only difference is EVGA has a reputation to hold for having gfg customer service and correcting their mistakes.
