This seems most likely.

Too much insulin, insulin digests all the sugar in his body, no sugars left to fuel the brain. RIP

too much insulin feels really, really shitty... but he'd have to have overdone it by a large margin to have it that bad. (in general, #s are different for different people) you feel the effects of hypoglycemia at around 60-70... risk of losing consciousness at 20-30, if the amount of insulin running its course is too much for your bodies survival mechanism of an emergency dump of adrenaline to counter-act it...

but shit happens. who knows.

I'm not sure what type he's taking, but if he took a large amount prior to eating and for some reason didn't eat, than he'd be a goner..

He's probably sitting on an ice blanket to preserve his brain right now if he's still in a comatose.

The dude will never be the same

Insulin comas are a real thing in elite bodybuilding.

I hope he makes it without brain damage, I like Rich.

Honest, crazy bastard.

Hypoglycemia is the biggest risk when administering insulin. Give too much and it can be fatal if not caught in time. That's why I love insulin pens. So much safer than syringes.

Enduced

RSI for difficult airway access.

We all know he's in an induced coma, probably because if he wasn't, he'd die from brain damage.
