and also in nvidia control panel

this was an issue for me, caused fps problems in some of my games until i fixed it

OP

right click your desktop and open nvidia control panel

select "Manage 3D settings" from the left panel

scroll down to "power management mode" in the right panel and make sure its set to "prefer maximum performance"

cant because it says my card isnt nvidia, but in my nvidia setting option its says i have gtx 980

That looks like your issue

so was my gpu not installed correctly? why does every game work fine except for black ops 3? i actually put bo2 to max settings and only got 23 fps lmao =(, i live by a shop, right around the corner actually, but fuck man prob gonna get charged out the ass

i do find it weird that i can only access "geforce experience" and not Nvidia settings

Also turn down MSAA and some other things.. the 980 is prolly out of vram playing that game

pretty sure i figured out my problem....pretty embarrassing =(, reinstalling bo3 to confirm im the stupidest person to ever walk the earth
