However, right now I am doing my cardio the elliptical exclusively except one night a week of indoor soccer. I just finished up coaching the offseason conditioning program I run for the local high school. I do everything with them along with the other countless amounts of sports and running I do. So my legs take a beating so usually August and September I give my legs some time off from the constant pounding by doing elliptical stuff. I despise swimming but that is also an awesome alternative.
Ironically swimming would be the best form of cardio to give your legs and joints a rest.
