So my friend gave me ff15 to play and I've been out of the final fantasy loop since about X.
My main question is I've played 1,2,3,7,8,X,X-2 how does the story of 15 stack up to 7,8, and 10
Obv please no spoilers but comparing the story to those games do you feel the game was worth your time to play?

TLDR: Is FF15 worth playing or is it a flop?

worth playing, story is decent but really lags at times but i think that is mostly because of how they did the open world. The story gets better at the end when they cram alot into the last couple chapters. I was overall satisfied, it wasnt a masterpiece that i will go back and play every few years like some of the others but it is worth playing once.

Worth playing, beautiful game, good story.

Doesn't come close to 7/8/9/10

Honestly you should play 9 coming from the list you've said you played so far
