I have playing FF Record Keeper for a few now, and I was just wondering if anyone know of decent applications, that are free or relatively cheap aside from Ports of the series. Disgusted by the FF 6 revamp. So nothing that's almost chibi like. Also good luck on Platinum, should anyone be playing Final Fantasy 12s Zodiac

FF Brave Exvius is a F2P mobile game, pretty good. Microtransactions of course, but they're pretty nice to new players, and you can build pretty good parties, without requiring 5 star bases. I only played Record Keeper for a little bit, before wanting to move on. Too many tutorials for my tastes, I wanted something quick and easy to pick up, which fits FFBE, but it also has challenging fights, when I feel like doing those.

The mobile games aren't like RPGs at all though. If you want the classic RPG style, there's plenty other games out there.

I started an FF one that is, but after a little while, I think it was like 15 dollars for the rest of the game or 5 for ea chapter. I like hard copies of games. Just something to pass time.

I prefer to play on Record Keeper rather than Brave Exvius for multiple reasons.

1. The Lucky Draw in RK lets you have at least 1x 5★ on that banner versus The "not so lucky" Draw in BE doesn't even guarantee you of having at least 1x 5★ Character,
and even if you pull on a banner you can end up with characters that aren't even ON that banner.
2. The dungeons in RK have its difficulty and you can manage to do good even if you're a F2P player versus the dungeons in BE that are almost or should I say near impossible for a F2P player to beat.
3. It's easier to collect 50 Mythrils (25 for the half draws) in RK versus collecting 5000 Lapis in BE which takes forever to get by the way and all of that hard work just to pull crap on a banner with your favorite Characters on it.
4. The Events in RK follows the stories of other Final Fantasy games versus the Events in BE can spoil you the story by having Characters with you that you don't even have at the (real) moment.
5. It RK if you consider buying the "Ifrit Gem Pouch" which is 38,99$ for 3100 Gems, with that you'll have enough for 1 Lucky Draw rather than in BE you will have to spend 69,99$ for the "Trunk of Lapis" for 6,000+2,500 (as a bonus) for 1 Draw of 5,000 Lapis. By the way, all the currency listed are CAD.
6. RK has the "16bit" Old school style rather than speaking of BE like a Brave Frontier copy with the name Final Fantasy on it.

Nothin beats PSXe emulator for final fantasy series

As far as actual apps, all of them beg you for money, so I stopped playing them.

I play the Triple Triad app on occasion. I'm sitting about 6 cards away from a complete deck.
