So the new ryzen chips are decent? I was going to go with the I7 7700k and possibly OC in the future.
I do want a 1080, though. Just because I think it'll last a bit longer on newer games in the future with higher FPS.
The 7700k is a housefire, using liquid cooling wont matter because the heat not being diffused from the die to the block fast enough because they use the cheapest paste they can between the cores and ihs. that and the slightly modified skylake arch just seems to run hotter.
Rather go for the 6700k. Exact same IPC.

If you want to settle for 250gb ssd and 1tb hdd like that guy said instead of getting more rig-appropriate storage (like 500mb ssd + 2tb+ hdd as i would) you may as well also use the money you saved to fall for the 1800x binning meme and maybe get a few more hundred mhz you MIGHT get out of it. 1800x at 4.2ghz + 3200 ddr4 would give even the overclocked + melting 7700k a run for its money in single threading, and obliterate it in multi thread.
