Yes. I think it's already confirmed that evil Morty is coming back this season. Rick already warned how dangerous a "cocky" Morty can be. I think it's pretty fucking clear that Morty might be the only thing in the universe that's actually a threat to Rick. I think that's just fucking awesome, especially after how hard they pushed for two fucking seasons that Morty was a dumb piece of shit who wasn't learning anything.

I'm so hyped to see Morty lose his shit and I just want to know what he did to that punk ass little bitch. That scene was fucking perfect.

I don't believe they will. I think Morty will get to around that level of evilness, they'll have a run-in with evil Morty, or evil Morty will seek out main Morty looking for a new ally. Episode will unfold, Main Morty will come to understand he doesn't wanna be like that and that he's happy being Rick's sidekick, even if he is an egotistical, selfish, piece of shit most of the time. Obviously it'll be fucking hilarious and they'll probably be some twists/turns as per usual, but I think it'll be something along those lines. It'll probably be pretty standard/predictable TV show writing. I'm still looking forward to it though.

The beauty of the show is that they can jerk us around by changing Mortys whenever they want, so they don't have to stick to anything they do.

The intro showing Rick literally picking out Mortys from a store shelf sets us up pretty well.
