SCOTUS seats require senate approval process. Obama didnt have that. Trump did.

Kind of hard for Obama to have Senate approval for a SCOTUS when McConnell wouldn't even hold hearings, much less a vote.

Obama had plenty of options at his disposal to force the issue, none of which he used

True, although that doesn't absolve the Senate of their complete abdication of their advise and consent responsibility.

Obama's problem was he thought Clinton had the election in the bag.

Obama's problem was that he was a pragmatist who always weighed the odds and made his tactical bets so carefully calculated, but had a habit of getting the math wrong, as per obamacare, his olive branch to hillary, libya, syria, trump, iraq withdrawal, etc
Clinton was the hubrist who thought she had it in the bag and spilled the spaghetti, Obama was the one who didn't get overconfident, just came to the wrong conclusion off rational analysis

Very true. Obama constantly tried to play the center even when it was obvious to the left that it was a losing strategy. I'm glad I never voted for the man, though I wasn't totally disappointed in his presidency. Just mostly.

Using their elementary school logic they are some of the few who should. After all, it takes one to know one.

Obstruction is the only way to govern now. Democrats and Republicans are just center left and center right moderates masquerading as full right wing and full left wing parties.

The US political system is so convoluted that the general public and right calls socialism and communism the same thing. American Liberals aren't even the same as European liberals. Classical liberalism is dying in the United States.

This is what you get with identity politics.
