tried to do baal quest on norm with my necro, but everytime baal dies, the quest says "can not finish quest, some other player already finished" ... whats aup with that? do i have to do the last hit?

the first game i created with a lvl1 barb which i wanted to gate ... since he was in town i thought .. "ok this doesnt work that way" ... but the second game i created with the necro and it still didnt work ... both chars have baal quest still doable though ... so it shouldnt matter which one of them create tha game ... at least thats what i think

Somethings wrong. My guess is user error.

Sounds like blizzard tagged your account and won't let you play the game. This is part of their new punishment systems for habuitual offenders.

you were right ... it was a user error ... quite frankly i think it's more of a bug ... normally it is enough for either you or your merc to hit the target and the quest does count. Apparently if only my minions kill the target it does not ... in my first 2 attempts my merc was blocked by all my minions and was not able to fight

so third time's the char ... i made sure to hit him a few times and this time everything worked out fine ... chance to hit 33% ... argh ... but it worked

Barb must be in wsc when baal dies for you to get q

thats not possible as he is only level on, and also not correct ... when i get the quest, he also gets the quest ... thats how a gater works

the very first time I ever played d2 I was trying to do normal andarial on a level whatever summoner by running up and down the stairs and letting the skele mages shoot her
got cannot complete in single player because she died while I was upstairs. my tiny child mind got so mad I uninstalled

maybe you weren't in quest range of baal when he died the first time
