Master of puppets over ride the lightning? Really?

Seasons in the abyss over south of heaven? Really?

Only 1 Death album? (Just about all should probably be on there IMO)

Only 1 mastodon album?

Only 1 opeth album? (No still life? Ghost reveries?)

No iron maiden's Piece Of Mind?

No tool's Opiate? (more metal than aenima)

No Atheist? Cynic? Watchtower?

No cannibal corpse? Like are you f'ing kidding me (seems like they excluded all death metal more or less?)

Post your gripes with the list here.

Props for having Gojira's From Mars to Sirius, probably one of my favorites on there, was pleasantly surprised to see that...

there's no pleasing anyone when ranking something as subjective as music lol

Rolling Stone magazine is the last place i'd go to see a list of a blanket genre like 'metal' lmao

I don't know how they manage to do a top 100 album, but all i know is that list is pretty dumb.

meh some choices I am happy with, but it's lacking some albums that should def be here too, subjective lists, I hate lists anyway.

The first two being Avenged Sevenfold and Evanescence make it hard to take seriously. Dopethrone should be on here.

Seasons in the abyss was honestly better, maybe the best

Im confused abt gojira tho. I though mars to sirius was their weakest

I guess its subjective af

Im also sad because underrated bands like Labyrinth will never be on there

Edit: wth, sad wings of destiny isnt on here?

Just checked the 20-1 section, not liking how highly they hold Ozzy's solo work, I never really cared for it myself and I think Master of Reality is easily ten times better than all of his solo bullshit that I've ever heard combined.

I think Maiden's Killers should be top 5, too, but kudos for them for putting their debut so high and not Dickinson's stuff.
